AI Managed Services for Legal Teams
You know your firm needs AI. You don't know where to start. Dodonai designs custom AI agents around the workflows your team already uses, with SOC 2 and HIPAA guardrails built in. Launch in weeks.
- Win back the hours lost to repetitive work
- Custom agents live in weeks, not quarters
- Built around the tools and workflows you already use
The missing middle for small-firm AI
Most AI help for smaller firms comes in three flavors: a course that teaches your team to prompt and leaves the building to you, another subscription app you have to learn and run yourself, or an embedded consultant priced for AmLaw 100 budgets. We're the part in between. We build the agents around how your firm already works and hand them over, scoped to a solo or small-firm budget.
Not another course
Training programs teach your team to prompt better, then leave the implementation to you. We do the building. You get working agents wired into your stack, not a reading list.
Not a generic app
Off-the-shelf legal AI makes you bend your practice to its workflow. We build around your templates, your matter states, and the tools you already use, and everything lives in your account.
Not big-firm consulting
The embedded AI consultants serving law firms are built for 500-lawyer shops at $200k-plus engagements. Our builds start in the low four figures, sized for solo and small firms.
And it's an architecture we run on ourselves every day, so the playbook your firm gets is one that's already in production, not a pitch deck.
Why firms work with us
Full implementation partner
We sit with your team, understand the work, and deliver agents that fit how your firm actually operates. We stay involved through launch and into daily use.
AI-model agnostic
We use the best available model for each job and update as the frontier moves, so you benefit from every new release without switching vendors.
Safety-first architecture
Agents create drafts. They never send, file, or commit anything without your review. Every action is logged, and the attorney stays in the pilot seat.
We run this on ourselves
We operate dozens of agents inside our own company every day. You get a playbook that already runs in production.
How It Works
Blueprint
We sit with your team, map your highest-leverage workflows, and audit the tools you already use (practice management, email, calendar, document management). You walk away with a written plan that shows exactly which agents to build, in what order, and what each one is expected to save you.
Build
We deploy 3 to 6 custom agents tuned to your firm. Intake triage, deposition prep, deadline monitors, medical chronologies, client update digests, whichever ones save the most attorney hours. Integrations, training, and documentation are all included, and the agents live in your account.
Managed
We keep the agents running, add new ones as your practice changes, and share what we learn from other firms we work with. Monthly reviews, priority support, and continuous improvement on a simple retainer.
Example deliverables
Packaged builds firms start from. Each one is fixed scope with a defined exit point — blend two or three, or assemble agents à la carte.
AI Discovery Audit
Front doorA workflow audit that maps your current work to specific AI agents and sequences them by ROI, plus a software-stack audit that inventories every SaaS line item with a Build / Integrate / Keep recommendation. You leave with a written implementation plan and fixed-fee pricing for the build-out.
Firm Wiki / LLM Brain
Your institutional knowledge (SOPs, templates, voice, condition libraries, theory-of-case patterns) turned into a queryable AI brain and the substrate every future drafting agent reads from. The end of tribal knowledge stuck in folders.
Modern AI Software Stack
Replace narrow-use SaaS with custom internal apps on the Dodonai substrate, and bridge in the tools you keep, including systems with no open API, via email-routing and scraping fallbacks. One integrated firm operating system instead of a dozen disconnected logins.
Marketing Suite
Blog Publisher, Social Repurposer, SEO Topic Scout, Newsletter Drafter, Website Reclamation, and an AI Editor. Typically displaces an outside content-vendor retainer and brings the work in-house.
Discovery Operations Pack
Substantive issue surfacing, financial-forensics scanning, text-message and email-thread parsing, production-set inventory with cite-back to source page, deficiency-letter drafting, and a deadline parser that writes events to your calendar. Works across practice areas.
Managing Partner Dashboard
One screen: practice-area revenue, attorney utilization, matter aging, lead-source ROI, pipeline forecast, per-case status chat ("what's the status on Smith?"), and an auto-compiled Monday-morning brief.
Not sure where to start? That's exactly what the Discovery Audit is for. Browse the full agent catalog to see what's possible.
What it costs
Pricing starts at the front door. The AI Discovery Audit is a flat fee, typically $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size of your firm and the scope of the diagnostic. It's satisfaction-guaranteed: if the plan doesn't leave you with a clear, actionable roadmap, you're under no obligation to continue.
Build and managed costs scale with the number of automations you turn on. A single workflow is a small fixed fee; a foundation plus a multi-agent department build is a larger one. Rather than quote a number in the dark, we price every build as a fixed fee off your Blueprint, so you approve the exact figure before any work starts, and you only buy the next module when the last one has proven itself.
No long-term contracts. Builds are paid 50% at kickoff and 50% at go-live. The optional managed retainer is month-to-month, cancel on 30 days' notice.
How we de-risk this for you
You own what we build
On payment, the workflows, prompts, agents, and integrations we build for you are yours. The skills live in infrastructure your firm controls.
You can walk away with it
If we ever part ways, you get a complete, source-form copy of everything we built, plus the documentation to run or hand it to anyone else. No lock-in.
We never train on your data
Your data and work product are never used to train, tune, or improve anything for any other client, not even in aggregated or anonymized form.
No long-term contract
Each phase is a discrete commitment with a satisfaction guarantee on Discovery and the first build wave. The managed retainer is month-to-month.

Legal experts + AI
The attorney stays in every loop. The AI handles the volume.
Every agent we build creates drafts, surfaces signals, and flags deadlines — it never decides, sends, or files on its own. Your team reviews and approves every action. That's not a limitation; it's the architecture. AI handles what scales. Humans handle what matters.
AI Managed Services: Asked & Answered
A Blueprint takes 2 to 3 weeks. A Build cycle usually runs 4 to 8 weeks depending on how many agents are in scope and how many integrations we need to wire up. Managed support is ongoing on a monthly cadence.
